A message asking for the price of a phone battery is a starting point. A clear model list helps a buyer and supplier discuss the same replacement part, quantity and delivery scope. This Longhehui wholesale phone battery inquiry checklist is designed for repair shops, distributors and purchasing teams preparing a first request or a repeat order.
Include the brand, full product name and model number, plus the sales region where known. Avoid shortening a Plus, Pro, Ultra or other variant into a family name. For identification, Apple explains how to find the model number in Settings > General > About; Samsung also documents model information under Settings > About phone. Menu wording may vary. The model number is useful for a parts inquiry; private IMEI and serial numbers are generally unnecessary for an initial quotation.
Copy the battery code exactly rather than guessing it from an online listing. Include any suffix. If the code is unknown, mark it as unknown and request help identifying the proposed part. Do not open a handset just to obtain a sales inquiry photo; a repair technician can supply appropriate reference images during normal service.
Where safely available, send a readable original label and views showing the battery outline, flex and connectors. State whether a photo shows the original removed part or another supplier's sample. Photos support comparison, but a similar outline alone does not prove compatibility. Ask the supplier to identify the actual assembly being quoted.
Use one line per requested part. Separate a sample request from the planned production or resale order, and distinguish a firm requirement from an estimate. This makes it easier to discuss each item without confusing the total quantity with the number of different models. Ask for current minimum quantities rather than assuming one rule applies to every product.
Give the destination country and city or postal code, your preferred delivery scope, and whether the quotation should include freight. Ask which costs are included and which remain for the buyer. An initial request does not establish a shipping option, final freight charge or delivery commitment; those need confirmation for the actual order.
Say whether you require standard packaging or want to discuss a private-label option. List any requested label language, barcode, carton identification or packing format. Request written confirmation of availability, cost and any artwork or sample review needed. Do not assume that a brand name on a quotation authorises third-party trademarks.
Request the proposed battery model, electrical ratings and current specification. If your purchasing process requires test reports or other documents, name them and ask whether they apply to that exact product. A general company description does not establish the status of every battery model. Agree on sample evaluation and acceptance criteria before treating a sample result as approval for a larger order.
Ask for the quotation date, validity period, currency, included items and payment terms. Request the proposed lead time and clarify when it starts. Record how mismatches or defects would be reported and assessed. These are questions to resolve with the supplier, rather than standard promises about price, availability, returns or dispatch.
Consider two documented assemblies in our own published teardown guides: the Xiaomi 17 BM6D is labeled 6330mAh typical, 6160mAh rated and 3.81V nominal; the Xiaomi 17 Pro BM6H is labeled 6300mAh typical, 6150mAh rated and 3.76V nominal. The similar handset names and close capacities do not identify the same replacement part.
| Inquiry detail | Example A | Example B |
|---|---|---|
| Handset | Xiaomi 17, global 6330mAh version | Xiaomi 17 Pro |
| Observed battery model | BM6D | BM6H |
| Typical / rated capacity | 6330 / 6160mAh | 6300 / 6150mAh |
| Nominal voltage | 3.81V | 3.76V |
These are reference-label observations, not a customer transaction or an interchangeability test. A request saying only "Xiaomi 17 battery, about 6300mAh" leaves an important ambiguity. Ask which handset and assembly are required, then compare the proposed physical part and connectors. Do not substitute either code simply because the capacity looks close.
Vague request: "Please quote Xiaomi batteries, 100 pieces." It does not establish the handset variant, battery assembly or destination.
Illustrative improved request: "We are a repair-parts distributor requesting a quotation for 100 BM6D assemblies for the global 6330mAh Xiaomi 17. Please confirm the proposed part against our original-label and connector photos. Destination: Lima, Peru. Please separate product price from freight, state quotation validity and proposed lead time, and confirm whether a small evaluation sample is available."
The quantity and destination above are illustrative, not an actual customer order or a Longhehui stock, sample or delivery commitment. If the original code is unknown, write "unknown; identification required" rather than copying the example code. For a mixed order, give each handset and battery code its own quantity line.

Attach a model list if you have several items. Ask the supplier to flag uncertain matches before quoting alternatives. For a repeat purchase, include the earlier quotation or agreed part reference and confirm whether the specification or packaging has changed.
