Samsung Galaxy A05 features a 6.7-inch PLS LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a dual rear camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels and a front camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels, and a huge battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh that supports fast charging with a power of 25 watts, and a MediaTek Helio G85 processor that provides average performance.

Design and screen

The phone comes with a simple design made of plastic, weighs 195 grams, and supports two Nano Sim cards.

The phone supports the second, third and fourth generation networks, and has a USB port of Type C type and a 3.5 mm port for headphones.

The screen occupies a large area of the front interface, and contains a small notch in the middle for the front camera, and has a brightness of up to 500 candles.

The screen comes with a PLS LCD type, and a size of 6.7 inches, and a resolution of 720×1600 pixels, and a density of 262 pixels per inch, and displays colors well.

Performance and memory

The phone works with a MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor, and a frequency of up to 2 GHz, and a Mali-G52 MC2 graphics processor, which is the same processor used in some competing phones such as Oppo A58 4G and Vivo Y27.

The phone supports expanding the internal memory by using a microSD card in a separate slot.

The phone works with Android 13 system with Samsung One UI Core 5.1 interface, which provides a smooth and comfortable user experience.

Camera and battery

The front camera comes with a resolution of 8 megapixels, and an F/2.0 lens aperture, and offers good selfie pictures in natural lighting, but loses some details in low lighting.

The main camera: with a resolution of 50 megapixels, and an F/1.8 lens aperture, and supports electronic image stabilization, and captures high-quality and clear-detail pictures in good lighting, but shows some noise in low lighting.

The secondary camera: with a resolution of 2 megapixels, and an F/2.4 lens aperture, and is dedicated to improving the isolation effect (portrait), and works acceptably in separating the background from the main objects.

The flash: of LED type, and helps to provide additional lighting in dark conditions.

The phone supports video recording with a resolution of 1080 pixels, and a speed of 30 or 60 frames per second, and offers videos with acceptable quality and natural colors, but suffers from some cutting in movement and focus.

The battery comes with a capacity of 5000 mAh, and supports fast charging with a power of 25 watts, and provides a long life for the phone, as it can last for a full day or more with average use, and needs about an hour and a half to fully charge.
